Parades and Ceremonies
The Academia General Militar is the heir and bearer of a glorious military tradition. Cadets are the main protagonists of a series of events and ceremonies of high symbolic value held along their stay at the Academia.
These events are listed below in chronological order:
- The handing-over of the Flag Drap.
- The Saber Ceremony.
- Presentation to the Virgen of El Pilar.
- The Oath of Allegiance.
- Second-lieutenant Commission Ceremony.
- Passing-out Ceremony.
- Graduation Ceremony (Management Engineering).

- Anniversary of the General Military Academy (February 20).
- Silver Weddings and XL Anniversary.
