Parades and Ceremonies

Silver and XL Anniversary

Every year the Academy celebrates the twenty-fifth and fortieth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance of its old classes of cadets.

Veteran classes form in the Academy's Parade Ground to renew their pledge of allegiance to the Flag. They make it with excitement to the same Flag they kissed in their day, and along with the new classes, which undoubtedly constitutes a true lesson in moral and exaltation of the "Spirit of the General".

For the classes that renew their oath is a day full of emotion for the reunion with their classmates, the memory of past experiences and anecdotes and of course, the memory of those who are no longer with them.

The military parade is completed with a visit, together with their families, to the facilities of the Academy.

At present the Silver or twenty-fifth anniversary is normally celebrated in March, and the forty anniversary in May.
