The VIII edition of the 'Cierzo Rally Ejército de Tierra 2026' National Championship concludes
Once again, the “Cierzo Rally Ejército de Tierra 2026” National Championship was successfully held, marking its VIII edition. As in previous editions, the event featured the participation of Corporal Diez, assigned to the Logistics Brigade Headquarters, who competed in the motorcycle category as a representative of the Spanish Army.

The King and Queen preside over the main Armed Forces Day 2026 ceremony
More than 3,700 personnel from the Spanish Army, the Navy, the Air and Space Force, the Military Emergencies Unit, the Royal Guard, and the Civil Guard took part in the main Armed Forces Day (DIFAS) 2026 ceremony, held on May 30 in Vigo and presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain and the Princess of Asturias.

The Spanish and Portuguese armies strengthen interoperability
This week, the Maneuver and Live-Fire Training Area of “General Menacho” Base, home of the “Extremadura” XI Brigade in Badajoz, is the setting for an advanced bilateral training exercise between the “Saboya” Infantry Regiment No. 6 and the 5th Sub-Group “Força Nacional” of the Mechanized Brigade of the Portuguese Army.

Instrucción conjunta en montaña entre el América 66 y la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos
El Destacamento de Enlace, Coordinación y Observación (DECO) del Mando de Tropas de Montaña y equipos TACP de la USAF se adiestran en Candanchú El Regimiento de Cazadores de Montaña «América» n.º 66 ha realizado una semana de instrucción específica en terreno montañoso, organizada por el equipo de control aéreo táctico del DECO y que ha contado con la participación de equipos TACP de la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos destacados en Europa. La actividad se desarrolló dos días en el entorno del Acuartelamiento de Aizoáin y otros dos en las inmediaciones del campamento militar de Candanchú.
