Major General Bras visits HQ NRDC ESP
The Chief of Staff of the NATO Rapid Reaction Corps (RRC) located in LILLE (France), French Major General Philippe Bras, visited the facilities of the Spanish Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters (HQ NRDC-ESP) located in Betera on the 02nd of December to foster the relationship between both headquarters.

German Cotanda Gil, Bétera Mayor, and Lieutenant General Rafael Comas Abad, COM NRDC-ESP, signed today an agreement to promote NATO culture.

HQ NRDC-ESP and Cardenal Herrera University will work together to promote the Culture of Defense in Society.
The CEU Cardenal Herrera University and the HQ NRDC-ESP in Valencia reached a collaboration agreement today to promote and make easier the investigation, formation and dissemination of the Culture of Defense, enhancing both institutions knowledge and collaboration. It is the very first agreement signed by this HQ with a university.

Visit of the Commander of NATO Allied Command for Operations on the occasion of our certificacion as the 1st NATO Joint Task Force Headquartes.
The four stars General Philip M. Breedlove (USA), Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR), attended the 3rd of July the military parade which was held in the barracks of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters Spain (HQ NRDC-ESP) in the Jaime I Base in Bétera to make official the starting of the HQ NRDC-ESP stand-by period as the first Joint Task Force Headquarters in the NATO Force Structure (JTF HQ).

The arrival of more than 300 esential augmentees and reservist completes the maning of the HQ NRDC-ESP for TRJR14
A total number of 292 augmentees and 13 reservists from 13 different countries, including Spain, will join our staff for the execution phase of the TRJR14.

TRIDENT JAGUAR is the certification exercise of the Spanish Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters (HQ NRDC-ESP) in order to become the first Deployable Joint Task Force Headquarters for Small Operations.

JLSG evaluation and certification process.
The Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) successfully carried out the phase IIIA of their evaluation and certification process. 86 people from 8 different countries participated in the phase that took place in HQ NRDC- ESP barracks from the 07th to the 10th of April.

HQ NRDC-ESP Deploys to Menorca
Trident Jaguar 2014 (TRJR 14) deployment phase started on the 5th of April with the projection of an initial team of 15 people to Menorca to prepare the arrival of the following units and equipment deemed to set up the JTF command post in San Isidro Base.

NATO Corps Commanders endorse the Joint Task Force Integrated Model.
The NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Commander (NRDC ESP COM), Spanish Lieutenant General (LTG) Rafael Comas Abad, participated in the Semestral Commanders Conference that took place in Izmir from 4th to the 6th of March hosted by the NATO Land Command (LANDCOM).
