HQ NRDC ESP deploys its operational reconnaissance team (OLRT) as part of its certification process to become a JTF HQ
A liaison reconnaissance team (OLRT) from the Spanish NATO Rapid Deployable Corps (HQ NRDC-ESP) has been deployed to the Joint Warfare Center (JWC) in Stavanger (Norway) as part of the certification process to become the first Joint Task Force (Land Heavy) Headquarters (JTF HQ) in NATO. The JWC is a training Center for NATO headquarters and provides support for the development of NATO exercises. The OLRT, composed of 16 people, is responsible to gather information for the Joint Operational Planning Group, currently planning in HQ NRDC ESP barracks in Betera, and to coordinate with local authorities and organizations present in the region to make the arrival of the force feasible. The OLRT will be deployed in Norway until the 16 of April.
