PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
To allow the Spaniards stating their commitment to the defense of Spain by taking the pledge or oath of allegiance to the Flag –even when it is not their wish to bond professionally with the Armed Forces–, it is necessary to set forth the procedure to apply for and meet such commitment .
Participants shall meet the requirements set forth in Order DEF/1445/2004 of May 16th:
- Holding the Spanish nationality.
- Being 18 years old when taking the pledge or oath.
- Not having been declared unfit by a final judicial decisión
Applicants who wish to take the pledge of allegiance in Toledo must turn in the form at the Subdelegation of Defense, Duque de Lerma Street, 6.
