The promotion ceremony of US Army officer Curtiss Armstrong to Lieutenant Colonel –posted in the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC-ESP) Bétera (Valencia)- took place in the Salón del Trono of the Convento de Santo Domingo in Valencia, site of the Spanish High Readiness Land Forces Headquarters (CGTAD).

eNRF LCC Commanders´ Conference 2016/2 in the HQ NRDC ESP (Bétera, Valencia).
The meeting was chaired by the NRDC ESP Commander, LTG Francisco Javier Varela Salas, and was attended by the different multinational units that were part of the VJTF during 2016.

NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Spain (NRDC ESP) visit Teruel in order to study on the field the famous battle that occurred in the Spanish Civil War.
The 18th and 19th of October, fifty members from different nations belonging to the NRDC ESP from Bétera (Valencia) conducted a Battlefield Study of Teruel´s Battle that occurred during the Spanish Civil War.

The Spanish Ambassador in Poland has met the troops posted in NATO´s Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF), deployed in Poland, who are taking part in this new force employment exercise, called VALIANT FALCON.

“Morning Celesta” cargo ship, which departed past May the 12th from Vigo, has arrived to Szscecin sea port in Poland with 500 Spanish military vehicles and more than 70 material containers.

El Cuartel General OTAN de Bétera realiza un ejercicio de Activacion como Fuerza de Respuesta Aliada.
6 abr 16.- Hoy ha tenido lugar en la Base “Jaime I” de Bétera la visita de autoridades al ejercicio ALERTEX-Brilliant Jump 16 en el que se simula la activación de la nueva Fuerza de Respuesta OTAN. Estas maniobras comenzaron el pasado 1 de abril, y finalizarán el próximo día 10.

NATO Headquarter in Bétera command land troops of Allied Response Force during 2016 from January on.
On January the 12th the official act of the new NATO response Force (eNRF), where HQ NRDC-ESP plays the role of Land Command, hand over-take over took place in “Jaime I” Military Base located in Bétera.
