Second series of lectures on Alfonso X "The legacy of a pioneering King"

The celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Alfonso X presents an unmissable opportunity to delve deeper into the figure of the Wise King. This is the aim of the lecture series held in Toledo, the monarch's birthplace, during 2021 and 2022. These lectures bring together the latest research on this pivotal figure in the language, politics, and culture of medieval Spain. This is the second of these series: "Alfonso X: The Legacy of a Pioneering King," organized by the Toledo City Council in collaboration with the Army Museum.
The lectures will take place in the Army Museum Auditorium at 7:00 p.m., and admission is free until capacity is reached.
