Sending Medical Supplies

 After the terrible incidents experienced by the population of the Valencian Community due to the passage of storm DANA through those beloved lands, the Sanitary Logistic Support Unit, after receiving the appropriate orders, has requested urgent transport to deliver a set of essential medical supplies to that action area, so that the teams collaborating in the cleaning and removal of mud and materials dragged by the flood can better carry out their work.

Consisting of various medical supplies such as full protection goggles, FFP2 and surgical masks, containers of hydroalcoholic gel, neoprene gloves, personal protective equipment, biological waste bags, and pairs of rubber boots, in quantities that mostly exceed a thousand items of each type, they constitute the first effective barrier of protection in such an exposed area for our acting colleagues and volunteers.

Organized in a single transport, this morning they proceeded to load and subsequently move to the Torrejón base, to complete the vehicle's load with other items from various sources, so that no later than 21:00 they can arrive at the Marines base for unloading and delivery, with the provisions indicated by the Command of the area, to the working groups.

Once again, this Unit's total readiness to execute the assigned tasks is demonstrated with the dedication, commitment, and service spirit that are inherent to it, granting them a value that in circumstances like these, represent the greatest service that all Central Logistic Organs represent for the MALE, the Army, and for Spain.
