Included in the allocation of new Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances scheduled for delivery in 2024, and after passing through the Park and Transmission Material Maintenance Center (PCMMT), on Monday, November 4th, three URO VAMTAC armored ambulances, whose medical equipment for ALS capability has been completed in this Unit, were moved to the Park and Vehicle Wheel Maintenance Center No. 1 (PCMVR1) in Torrejón.

Fully equipped in their medicalized part, after the necessary checks of the required medical material and issuance of technical-legal certifications for all the medical equipment they carry, their documentation was sent to the Health Directorate, where the competent Authority proceeded with their Technical Health Certification. This was the last step before leaving this unit for PCMVR1, aiming for their subsequent dispatch to the "Guzmán el Bueno" X Brigade, whose physicians will be responsible for deploying them in the assigned operations area, in the town of Marjayoum in Lebanon.

Integrated into an ambitious project to renew the Army's ambulance fleet, due to their special characteristics, they represent the most modern and suitable equipment to provide to our contingents deployed in operational areas, in all theaters of Spanish participation. Their versatility and all-terrain capabilities grant them a wide range of operations with full guarantees of protection and operational efficiency.

Representing virtually the end of the program to renew the fleet of all types of ambulances planned for 2024, this last milestone brings this Unit an extra sense of pride and satisfaction for achieving "a job well done", which, as it cannot be otherwise within the action framework of the Army Logistics Support Command, represents our main function.
