Like every year, coinciding with the deployment phase of the Antarctic Campaign, the traditional Penguin Sponsorship Campaign will begin again. In this way, the members of the XXXIX Antarctic Campaign want to convey our commitment to Antarctica and the environment, as well as engage you in it.

By adopting the penguins of Deception Island, you will join this initiative and help spread the commitment to caring for the environment, so that together we can make the planet Earth a cleaner, healthier, and more balanced place with nature. Sponsor History of a Penguin.

Since 1992, diplomas were made in an artisanal and manual way, only for the members and acquaintances of the Antarctic Campaign of the Army of the Land (CAET), but in the XXIII CAET, 2009-2010, the definitive "push" was given thanks to the dissemination of a regional television. Subsequently, the following campaigns had to be sent by postal mail from Deception Island, but due to the number of sponsorship requests, the Ministry of Defense began to request them electronically, in 2014-2015 with the XXVIII CAET, ending with 2,360 sponsorships that year, the following year reaching 9,890, and by 2024-2025 with the XXXVIII CAET reaching over 525,000 sponsorship diplomas.
