The Legion Brigade has left for Romania to participate in the VJTF 'Noble Jump' exercise

The equipment and vehicles of the “Colón” Tactics group, generated by the Legion Brigade, that will be used in the VJTF (Very High Readiness Joint Task Force) "Noble Jump" exercise 17, led by the NATO Response Force (NRF), left the port of Almería for Romania on 24 May.

The Support Group for the 11th Logistic group Projection supervised the loading of the vehicles and equipment onto the ship named “El Camino Español,” which belongs to the 8th "Colón" Battalion, a unit generated by the “Colón” Tactics Group. Within the equipment are the High Mobility Tactical Vehicles, which transport personnel as well as weaponry, "Lince" vehicles, heavy transport trucks and light vehicles.

Recovery vehicles from the Logistics Group that support the Tactics Group will travel on the ship, as well as various other equipment, such as replacement parts. A small group of mechanics and loading staff from the 8th Brigade will also travel on the ship, in case of any problems during the journey.

The “Colón” Tactics Group belong to the 2017 Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF 17), within the NRF of the Atalantic Alliance. This is an advanced multinational force.
