PRESENTATION:

The presence of the social communication media in conflicts is a reality. Being near the news means assuming risks. In this effort many correspondents have lost their lives. The Army, with constantpresence in operations abroad, offers its experience to media professionals in this Workshop.


AIM:

To provide the journalist who transfers to a crisis or conflict area some skills and knowledge that allow him to undertake his work in the best security and survival conditions.

  • Opening of the Workshop.

  • Basic knowledge of the Armed Forces.

  • Transport to the Military Medical School.

  • Medical Prevention in the Area.
  • Medical Geography.
  • Stress Control (workshop).
  • First aid: Wounds (workshop).
  • Casualty Transport (workshop).
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Lunch at the Military Medical School.
