Day of the Armed Forces in La Coruña

The Maneuver Support Command (MAM in Spanish) has organized a series of activities that will take place in La Coruña, from June 1st to 11th, and that aim at facilitating a better knowledge of the work carried out by the Armed Forces, by the population of Coruña and its visitors.

The program of activities will include a solemn Flag hoist, on June 8th, at 1.00 p.m, in the dock of the Parrote, presided by the head of the MAM; General Juan F. Arrazola Martínez.

Likewise, an exhibition of materials has been prepared, which will be open to the public in the aforementioned dock, from June 8th to 11th, from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. There, it will be possible to see the most modern vehicles and weapons systems of the Army, Navy, Air and Space Army and Civil Guard; exhibitions of cynological equipment; music concerts; children's application track; drone flight; and exhibition of Operational Security Equipment, among other activities.

The program includes guided visits to the Palace of the General Military Headquarters - Plaza de la Constitución, nº 5-, and the exhibition "150 Anniversary of Ramón y Cajal as a military doctor. Military Health, "which can be seen in the Military Historical Museum -plaza de Carlos I, s / n-, until July 2nd, from Monday to Saturday, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m; and on Sundays from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
