The 12th 'Guadarrama' Brigade organizes the obstacle course 'Armored Challenge 2023'

On June 17th, the 12th "Guadarrama" Brigade is going to organize at the "El Goloso" base (Madrid), the second edition of the obstacle course "Armored Challenge". It is a civil-military competition oriented to the dissemination of the military culture and values, as well as to foster cohesion among participants.

The race has two modalities: either a 6 kilometer initial run with 30 obstacles, or the complete 10 kilometer run with 60 obstacles, including the demanding military obstacle track. In this edition, vertical obstacles and suspensions are taking prominence.

In parallel, various activities for family members and companions will be carried out, especially for little ones, such an exhibition of material, a guided tour of the Armored Vehicles Museum, a children's obstacle track or an air balloon.

Registration costs between 20 and 35 euros, according to the registration and date modality, and it includes a t-shirt and a commemorative diploma of the race. The registration period ends on June 12th or until the quote is completed. The only requirement is being of legal age and signing a disclaimer form.

It is possible to park in the vicinity of the base (military car park next to the Suburban train station).
