The Graduates Hall of the Royal School of Cavalry in Ronda (Málaga) was the setting chosen by the acting commander of the Legion Brigade, Colonel Salom, to present this year’s edition of the civilian-military sporting event “The Legion: 101 km in 24 hours”. The competition will be held on 14 and 15 May in Ronda, with 7,500 athletes expected to take part.
This year the competition will not include duathlon due to the absence of a substantial number of soldiers from the Legion Brigade, who are deployed in Lebanon. For the first time, the event will be supported by several remote control area systems which will provide real-time images of the whole track during the 24 hours.
