Mobile Command Post of NATO LCC (Land Component Command) latest developments in Bétera, Spain.

From Nov. 8th to Nov. 10th, the Spanish High Readiness Land HQ´s in Bétera (Valencia) has activated its Mobile Command Post of level NATO LCC (Land Component Command) with a significant improvement of its capabilities.

These latest developments in the Communications and Information Systems (CIS) of the Mobile Operations Command enables to keep informed the Commander of the LCC about all the operations and to keep him connected twenty-four/seven to other Posts’ Command (main and rear) via satellite; even during his deployments.

The central core of the Post Command´s communications is made of the SORIA Vehicular Station with most up-to-date transmission equipment. The Military Communications Spanish System mobile via satellite (SECOMSAT, in Spanish), along with different military and civilian communication systems (VHF/UHF, HF, satellite INMARSAT,…) are a wise combination that allows the SORIA Station to give a versatile and efficient support to the Mobile Post Command in any tactical situation.
