THE NATIONAL UNION OF FORMER UNIVERSITY MILITIA OFFICERS AND NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS SEEKS IMAGES OF THE UNIVERSITY MILITIA FOR AN EXHIBITION.

The National Union of Former University Militia Officers and Non-commissioned Officers will organise, at the end of this year, an exhibition on the University Militia.  The exhibition commissioner will be Mr. Carlos Lozano, a veteran in exhibition organisation on military themes, who has directed, among others, the exhibitions for the 75th anniversary of the Legion, the 300th anniversary of 31st Mechanised Infantry Regiment “Asturias” or more recently, the 500th anniversary of 9th Light Infantry Regiment “Soria”.

The exhibition on University Militia will be made up mainly of photographs contributed by its former members.  To this end, assistance is requested from all people who have photographs of the former Militia camps or of its regulation training.  The National Union of Former University Militia Officers and Non-commissioned Officers has made a special call to those persons who have photos of the Militia’s first years, which are of great interest and more difficult to find.
