The San Cristóbal Barracks (Villaverde – Madrid) was the venue for the ceremony where the Honorary Ribbon of the Honorable and Royal Order of Knights of San Cristóbal was awarded to the Garrison Services Unit (USAC) "San Cristóbal" on February 13th.

The ceremony was presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Army General Amador Enseñat y Berea, who, after receiving honors, inspected the troops and took his seat at the head of the ceremony. The event was attended by the Grand Master of the Honorable and Royal Order of Knights of San Cristóbal, Antonio Marín Andrés, along with other civil and military authorities.

During the event, the order granting the Honorary Ribbon was read aloud. The Chancellor of the Order then awarded the ribbon to the unit's standard. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of recognizing units like the Garrison Services Unit (USAC) "San Cristóbal," whose behind-the-scenes work is essential for the success of military operations. He also emphasized the shared value of service between the Order of San Cristóbal and the Armed Forces.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Robles, head of the Garrison Services Unit (USAC) "San Cristóbal," thanked for the distinction and highlighted the daily work of the unit's members, emphasizing their commitment to excellence in service. In his remarks, he referred to the importance of recognizing the past, valuing the present, and facing the future with determination and a spirit of continuous improvement.
