The Chief of Staff of the Army (JEME) at the Conference of American Armies

The Chief of Staff of the Army (JEME), Army General Amador Enseñat, participated in the XXXVI Conference of American Armies (CAA), which took place between February 18th and 22nd at the Heroic Military College of Mexico, located in the territorial demarcation of Tlalpan (Mexico City).

During the meeting, a plenary session was held where the achievements and challenges of the CAA at the current time were presented, as well as the planned activities for the next biennium.

Within the framework of the main theme of the current cycle, "The new roles adopted by American armies in response to the risks and threats of the 21st century within the framework of international legislation and the particular context of each country," the JEME shared with his American counterparts how the Spanish Army, as part of the Armed Forces, is fully integrated into the social and democratic rule of law, always present and at the service of Spanish society, and how it maintains its constant willingness to adapt through its transformation and modernization projects.
