Lessons from the Second of May

In 1808 the people of Madrid rose up against the French invader fighting alongside the Army in the Monteleón Artillery Barracks. A glorious battle written in the history books by the people of Madrid and soldiers such as Captains Daoiz and Velarde and Lieutenant Ruiz.
