Commander: General Miguel Simón Contreras.
Its troops were drawn from the 11th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and included a Company from the 11th Armoured Brigade and a Squadron from the 14th Cavalry Regiment "Villaviciosa".
Total personnel were 1,350 including the Advance Logistics Echelon (EALOG).
With respect to previous Units, there was an additional Company to fulfil the needs stemming from the elections.
The organisation was also modified to include a Field Information Team and an Electronic Warfare Unit, which replaced the ETER Platoon and broadened its support.
The most outstanding activities centred on support to OSCE in municipal and legislative election supervision.
Operation "Bosanova" was also carried out to monitor radio and television broadcasts in the Bosnian-Serb Republic.
