The Army Chief of Staff, General Francisco J. Varela, attended the opening of the exhibition ¨100 Years of the Legion” at the Army Museum (Toledo) on September 24. He was accompanied by the Museum´s Director, General Arenas, who, in his speech, wanted to emphasize that the temporary exhibition aims to “not only make known the glorious and heroic history of the body and its uniqueness, but also show the essential values of the Legion imparted by its founder Lieutenant Colonel Millán-Astray.”

The show is made up of over 200 exhibits, both from the musuem and other locations, that visitors can view in the temporary exhibition hall. It also includes four pieces of artillery and four vehicles in the garden promenade. The exhibit is organized so visitors can see the most relevant events in the Legion´s history, and screens showing videos of the Legion through the years are located throughout the exhibition hall. In addition, there is a space dedicated to the little ones that includes a diorama and the impact of the Legion on toys.

The exhibition is open until April 2021, Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 with free entry.
