The 61st edition of the Army Awards (Premios Ejército) has been announced in the School Education category

Army Awards – School Education

The Spanish Army has announced the 2026 edition of the Army Awards (Premios Ejército) in the School Education discipline, which is divided into six categories. National schools may participate with works and projects created by their students that refer to or are related to any of the Army’s activities, in any historical period, and/or to its main commemoration, which in the 61st edition is dedicated to the ‘250th anniversary of the Spanish contribution to the independence of the United States of America’.

The application submission period runs from November 22nd, 2025, to January 22nd, 2026, both dates inclusive. Applications should preferably be sent by email to premiosejercito@et.mde.es

Applications may also be submitted in person, by postal mail or courier, at the Institute of Military History and Culture, Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 12:00, and through the Ministry of Defense’s Online Portal: https://sede.defensa.gob.es/acceda/procedimientos.

Applications may be submitted by individuals (such as the school principal, head of studies, teacher, etc.) with a certificate of representation (authorization from the parents or legal guardians of the participating students), or by a legal entity (the school itself).
