Book Presentation for ‘The Last Lauded One’

To continue the programme undertaken by the Melilla General command and within the activities of the General Navy Chair, today at eight o’clock in the evening the book ‘The Last Lauded One’, by Francisco Ángel Cañete Páez will be presented at the Military Club with the writer and historian of  Melilla  Mr. Santiago Domínguez Llosa presiding.
 

The book concisely and pleasantly summarises, with the visual aid of  magnificent illustrations, the  events in which the 14th Regiment ‘Cazadores de Alcántara’ ",played a key role during  the protection of the withdrawal of the column that General Felipe Navarro sent towards Monte Arruit (Morocco). In its final part, a complete study on uniform of the period can be seen.
