The Chief of the Army Staff, accompanied by the President of the Madrid Autonomous Community and the Mayoress of Madrid, will Preside over an Oath of Allegiance to the Flag Ceremony for Civilian Personnel

The Chief of the Army Staff, General Fulgencio Coll Bucher, on Saturday next, 16th June, at 11:00am, will preside over an Oath of Allegiance to the Flag ceremony in ‘Plaza de Oriente’ square (Madrid). During this solemn ceremony he will be accompanied by the President of the Autonomous Community and the Mayoress of Madrid, Ms. Esperanza Aguirre and Ms. Ana Botella.
 

Those interested in carrying out the oath or promises are still in time to request doing so.  They must fulfill the following requirements: 
 
• Have Spanish nationality
• Be eighteen years of age or older at the time of carrying out  the oath or promise
• Not have been declared legally incapacitated in an unappealable sentence
 

 They may make the request by filling out an official application form, accompanied by a photocopy of their National Identify Card (DNI) and submitting it to:
