The Cyberspace and Technical Assistance Services Headquarters (JCISAT) held, from 10 to 12 February, a technical exercise on interoperability and distributed simulation for training and mission rehearsal in multidomain operations at the “Capitán Sevillano” Barracks in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid).

During the exercise, the integration of various simulation systems, command and control systems, and tactical radio communications—both real and simulated—was successfully carried out within an interoperable and distributed environment. In addition, a proof of concept of the future ATENEA project was presented to support the tactical planning process and operational decision-making.

The workshops included the active participation of organizations such as the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) and the companies Aechelon, Atika, Indra, OGA, RFE, RealSimulator, SIMUMAK (Indra Group), Tecnobit (OESIA Group), and XRF, whose systems and solutions were integrated into the exercise.

The event was attended by military observers from several allied countries, as well as personnel from different units of the Army, representatives from the other Services, the Joint Command, the Household of H.M. the King, and the Military Emergencies Unit, in addition to members of the National Police Corps, the Civil Guard, and the Pozuelo de Alarcón Local Police.

With this initiative, the JCISAT has consolidated its leadership in the field of interoperability and distributed simulation, directly contributing to the enhancement of advanced training and Force readiness in complex operational environments.
