The NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters deploys a command post in Bétera (Valencia)

The NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters (HQ NRDC-ESP) has deployed a command post at its base in Bétera (Valencia) for exercise “Avenger Triad 25,” led by the United States Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF), from October 22nd to November 2nd, with participation from seven allied nations.

Exercise “Avenger Triad 25,” a Command Post Exercise (CPX), simulates a large-scale combat operation at echelons above corps level and brings together seven headquarters located in Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Spain, under the command of USAREUR-AF.

The Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters in Spain, Lieutenant General Luis Sáez Rocandio, stated that “our participation in "Avenger Triad 25" demonstrates HQ NRDC-ESP’s commitment, readiness, and capability to integrate into NATO multinational operations.”

Through its participation in this exercise, HQ NRDC-ESP strengthens its interoperability and ability to integrate into multinational structures, while reaffirming its commitment to the collective defense of the allies, contributing to the security, stability, and territorial integrity of all member nations.

“Avenger Triad 25” aims to increase readiness, enhance interoperability, and validate NATO’s regional defense plans through the experimentation of new command and control concepts in multinational operations. The exercise is conducted in coordination with NATO’s “Steadfast Duel 25,” enabling real integration of command and control systems within a single operational scenario.
