The Commander in Chief of the Chilean Army, Army General Juan M. Fuente-Alba, today has visited Buenavista Palace, Army Headquarters (Madrid), where he has been received by the Chief of the Army Staff, Army General Fulgencio Coll.
 

The ambassador of Chile to Spain, Mr. Sergio Romero, has been present during the Official Honours which began the visit.  After the greetings between both delegations, the Chief of the Army Staff and the Commander in Chief of the Army have held a private meeting before signing the Guest Book; subsequently the delegations have held a meeting in which, among other matters, they have dealt with the preparation of the Army in the current economic scenario, as well as various legal aspects affecting the military institution. 
 

The encounter has been undertaken in an atmosphere of utmost cordiality and has served to exchange experiences at all levels.
