The Portuguese Chief of the Army Staff Concludes his Visit in Spain

The Portuguese Chief of the Army Staff, Army General Pina Monteiro, has undertaken a two-day visit of Spain, which has concluded today at Army Headquarters in Madrid. There he has been received by the Spanish Chief of the Army Staff, with whom he has held a personal interview.  Following this, he has signed the Guest Book and attended two lectures given by the Operations Division (Operations. Co-operation Possibilities with Portugal) and the Logistics Division (Collaboration with Portugal in Materiel and Logistic Support), both belonging to the Army General Staff.  To finalise, the Spanish and Portuguese delegations carried out a guided visit of ‘Buenavista’ Palace.
 

Army General Pina Monteiro travelled yesterday to Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) in order to visit Military Disaster Relief Unit Headquarters.  There he was received by the Military Disaster Relief Unit commander, Lieutenant General Roldán, and he attended a presentation at the Operations Centre, followed by a static display.
