To meet these objectives, the Foundation promotes educational, cultural, museum and publishing activities.

The Foundation, of a private nature and non-profit, is made up by a managing director and an executive commission, although they will be able to agree on, when they consider it pertinent, the creation of any other organisation in order to undertake its functions. Also, there is a Committee of Benefactors, made up by those individuals or legal entities interested in the aims and objectives of the foundation who collaborate and participate in carrying out the activities of the Foundation.

Following the signing, the Chief of the Army Staff, General Fulgencio Coll, has taken the floor to express gratitude for the commitment by the Patrons with the activity of the museum, which has received nearly 200,000 visitors since its opening, making it the most visited state museum.
