Four Betera schools visit NATO Base
More than two hundred teachers and students of primary school 6th course from all Betera´s public schools have visited NATO Base these past two days.
The pupils of 6th course of primary schools Marqués Dos Aguas, Camp de Turia, Nuestra Señora del Carmen y Lloma del Mas were visited by NATO Headquarter Communication Office components with the purpose of explaining them the finality of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the values what it promotes: Democracy, Individual Freedom, Human Rights and Law Respect.
These activities are into the framework of the collaboration agreement signed past October the 27th between Bétera Town Hall and NATO Headquarter to enhance a better knowledge of the mission, activities and goals of this Unit.
The students have had the opportunity to visit a small deployable Post of Command, know the equipment the Headquarter components work with and participate in a kid press conference.
