HQ NRDC-ESP TEAM BUILDING EVENT

Last 22 May 2013, HQ NRDC-ESP organized an event, made up of a short march in a light mountainous area in the vicinity of Serra village (around 9 Km,s) and a subsequent lunch with a ”paella” contest at “Maestrazgo” Pavilion, Bétera Military Base. The  aim  was  to keep the team spirit, to encourage mutual trust and to provide the Head Quarters with a short break  in the daily high workload situation.

Due to the number of participants (around 200 people) , HQ branches were arranged in three groups:

• Group 1: CENTRAL STAFF, COMMDIR, CIS & OAPO
• Group 2: OPS DIV & AOCC
• Group 3: COMMAND GROUP, SUPPORT DIV & RSC/JLSG
The march took place between 08:00  and 12:30 hours where the participants enjoyed the good weather and the wonderful landscape.

After the march, there was a nice lunch where the "paellas" from the contest were the main course as traditional in Valencia Region.
Around 14 cooking teams participated in the contest where the LOG and UAPO teams were distinguished with the first and second prize, respectively.
 

The Major of Bétera German Cotanda Gil and other members of the town council participated in the social event along with civilian workers and families, in a charming environment created with the camouflage nets that the HQ NRDC-ESP support batallion  mounted.
