Organization of the Headquarters of the Operational Logistic Force

 General headquarters

 

The Headquarters of the Operational Logistic Force groups together all the units and auxiliary organs which aid the Commander in chief’s command of the Operational Logistic Force.

 

Post of command

Within the Headquarters, the headquarters Staff is the main auxiliary organ which aids the command of the Commander of the Operational Logistic Force. It is responsible for providing the necessary elements on which to base decisions, transform these into orders and safeguard their fulfilment.

 

The tracking centre of Logistic activity is the organ responsible for obtaining, analysing and compiling the information which the Operational Logistic Force requires. It updates the necessary concepts and procedures in order to carry out their functions.

 

The Legal Consultancy is the organ which undertakes the legal consultancy for the Commander of the Operational Logistic Force and his Units if unavailable to them.

The Department of Economic Affairs is responsible for managing and coordinating the financial resources, recruitment and accountancy. It also administers the financial resources allocated to the units when not on national territory.

The Information Office is the organ responsible for the communication of the Operational Logistic Force. It programs, organizes and carries out public relations, protocol activities which its Commanders participate in.

 

The Support Unit of the Headquarters is responsible for controlling and carrying out safety procedures, internal regulations, services and provides the support that the Headquarters of the Operational Logistic Force requires.

Additionally, it is aided by the Logistic Support Command for Operations, especially established and trained to provide the necessary logistic support from national territory to the projected force.
