RACTA 4 missions as Field Artillery

The field artillery units support and protect the rest of the forces in ground actions with their powerful, precise and deep fires and assist the command in the integration of all the fire support acts for the benefit of the maneuver.

RACTA 4 missions as Coastal Artillery

• Contribute in the joint/joint-combined framework, to the control and defense of coasts, in particular the Strait of Gibraltar.
• The mobile coastal artillery units may be assigned to the operational plans established for the defense of coasts in areas other than the Strait of Gibraltar.
