3rd CIVIL-MILITARY CONGRESS ON SOCIOLOGY

Comunication

 

The abstract submission period (short text) for congress presentations will run from April 18 through September 28, 2026.
 
Submissions should be sent to the following email address: sociologia_ejercito@mde.es
 
The abstracts shall be governed by the following rules:
  1. Abstracts must be submitted within the established timeframe.
  2. Papers may be co-authored.
  3. Abstracts must be submitted using this template: Extended Summary Template.  
  4. The official language of the congress is Spanish. No interpretation services are available.
  5. All texts, presentations, and communications will be in Spanish.
  6. Posters must conform to the following dimensions: 90 cm wide by 120 cm high. These dimensions are subject to a reasonable tolerance; reference: DIN A-0.

The following formats are established for the scientific sessions:

  1. Oral communication. (A maximum of five lecturers per symposium. Projection equipment will be available in all rooms)
  2. Poster. (Subject to approval by the Scientific Committee, which may modify this presentation format)
  3. Ponencia Marco. (A single renowned speaker in his or her field of expertise)
  4. Debate expositivo. (This format will be discussed with the session coordinators. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of ideas among participants)
  5. Plenary session.
  6. Plenary conference.

 

Presentations will be organized according to the following thematic areas:

Panel 1: Cognitive Domain in Civilian and Military Environments.

Panel 2: Society in a Technological World. Social Resilience. 

Panel 3: Sociology of Communication and Language. Social Integration and Cultural Shock. 

Panel 4: Direct and Strategic Leadership Models. Mission-Oriented Leadership.

Panel 5: International Relations in the New Geostrategic Reality.

Panel 6: New Family Structures. Work-Life Balance and Social Challenges. Legal Implications.

Panel 7: Security and Defense Culture (Bystander Effect, Social Identity, Image, and Profession).

Panel 8: Methodologies in Social Sciences: Synergies Between Sociology, Social Psychology, Operational Research, and Statistics in the Comparative Analysis of Data.
