Prometeo Course 25

Personnel from HQ NRDC-ESP conducted a training course on the new command and control tool PROMETEO from 12 to 16 May.

The course provided both theoretical and practical training to participants, focusing on the system’s capabilities as an operational planning and execution tool. PROMETEO replaces the previous SIMACET system and marks a significant step forward in the modernization of the Spanish Armed Forces.

This new technological development enhances the operational capabilities of the Spanish Army, aligning it with the latest NATO interoperability standards and improving decision-making processes.

To support the system’s implementation, HQ NRDC-ESP staff organized an intensive training program aimed at key users to ensure a smooth and effective transition from SIMACET to PROMETEO, and to enable the full use of the system’s new features.With this initiative, HQ NRDC-ESP reaffirms its position as a leading NATO headquarters, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of operational readiness and technological innovation within the Alliance.
