eNRF LCC Commanders´ Conference 2016/2 in the HQ NRDC ESP (Bétera, Valencia).
The meeting was chaired by the NRDC ESP Commander, LTG Francisco Javier Varela Salas, and was attended by the different multinational units that were part of the VJTF during 2016.
The Spanish Brigade BRILAT “Galicia” VII, which was the “core” for the VJTF Brigade in 2016 and the first one after the approval of that new force, was also present in the meeting, represented by its Commander.
Lieutenant General Tim Radford, ARRC Commander, received a number of lectures to take profit of all the lessons learned. The ARRC will lead the VJTF in 2017.
This enhanced NATO Response Force was approved in the WALES NATO Summit in 2014 and reflects NATO efforts to face the new threats together.
The Spanish leadership of that force shows our commitment with NATO and the high standards of Spanish Armed Forces.
