A Tactical Subgroup from the General Command of the Balearic Islands has been integrated into a Tactical Group (GT) made up of units from the General Command of Melilla to carry out an exercise program at the National Training Center (Centro Nacional de Adiestramiento, CENAD) “Chinchilla”, in Albacete, between 2 and 13 February.

The Balearic personnel belong to the Infantry Regiment “Palma” No. 47 and to the Engineer Section of the Headquarters Unit. For its part, the Tactical Group (GT) is organized on the basis of a battalion (Bandera) from the Tercio “Gran Capitán” I of the Brigade “Alfonso XIII” II of the Legion, with Artillery, Engineer, Cavalry, Signals, and Logistics support.

The Tactical Subgroup will conduct combat training exercises with the aim of standardizing procedures and enhancing operational readiness, in close coordination with the Tactical Group (GT) Command.

Through this intensive training and instruction program, the Canary Islands Command seeks to foster mutual understanding among its units, strengthen internal cohesion, and enhance coordinated action between its units.
