On 16 November, Major Cameron Law, Plans Division of NRDC-ESP, won the first-ever Galápagos Ultra Marathon, a 70 km endurance event on San Cristóbal Island.

The route crossed five microclimates, climbed to 700 m at the volcanic crater lake of El Junco, and included more than 1,700 m of elevation on a mixture of road and trails.

Major Law completed the course in 9 hours 47 minutes, overcoming a particularly demanding ascent from Puerto Chino back to El Junco.

Despite a demanding exercise schedule during the preparation period, this achievement highlights the resilience, discipline, and physical readiness that underpin NRDC-ESP’s commitment to excellence.
