'Castillejos' Division Headquarters receives 'Battle Staff Training'

The “Battle Staff Training” exercise, part of the preparation for “Toro 21,” was carried out January 19 to 21 at the “Sancho Ramírez” barracks in Huesca. “Sancho Ramírez” is the headquarters of the “Castillejos” Division.

It is the first in a series of exercises by the Division´s headquarters that culminates with the execution of “Toro 21,” the main Army exercise for this year, which will be led by the “Castillejos” Division.

The “Battle Staff Training” exercise served to unite personal so they can get used to the Headquarter´s procedures and work structure, as many of them are new since the Headquarter’s transfer to Huesca. Through this exercise, operating procedures have been validated, making it possible to verify the application of different operating standards.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all safety measures were followed during the exercise, including limiting the number of people gathered and maintaining an appropriate distance between them, as well as following other important sanitary and hygiene measures.
