The Training and Doctrine Command is setting up an international meeting about multidomain operations

The Training and Doctrine Command, by means of the Investigation, Doctrine, Organic and Material Directorate (DIDOM in Spanish), has organized the fourth workshop - the first face to face – of the project Multi-Domain – A Multinational Understanding, which was held from 26th to 29th April, in Granada.
 
The event is part of the Multinational Capability Development Campaign (MCDC), promoted by the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff and with the collaboration of 23 nations and intergovernmental organizations, among them NATO and the European Union. Specifically, 28 analysts of 14 nationalities and organizations attended the workshop in Granada.
 
With the project Multi-Domain – A Multinational Understanding,which began in June 2021, the basic principles of the multidomain activities are developed during the competition and conflict phases, in a combined and joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multinational environment.
 
The next workshop will be held in Poland at the end of June, while the multidomain project will finish by the end of 2022.

On the other hand, DIDOM is organizing, from 3rd to 5th May, the first annual meeting of NATO’s Military Committee Land Standardization Board, in Granada too, for the standardization of equipment, techniques and procedures between member states. This meeting is part of MCDC.
 
The event will be attended by 35 representatives from 19 countries who will carry out morning and afternoon sessions.
