On 20th February, the operational teams of the Special Operations Command (MOE) received the first two units of the vehicle designed to respond to the land infiltration needs required by these units.

It is the Medium Vehicle for Special Operations (VMOE) assembled on the VAMTAC ST5 AMT platform. Its purpose is to enhance protection capacity before light weapons, mines, harrying, ambushes and explosive devices.

Created by the company UROVESA, in association with the Unit of Experiences from the Special Operations Command and the Land Platforms Section from the Purchasing Direction, it is addressed to the land mobility specialists of the Command, providing them with greater autonomy, capacity for survival and self-defence.

Thus, the MOE has specific mobility means that allow it to comply with its in-depth land infiltration missions with high mobility means.

This vehicle increases mobility, firepower and logistical autonomy that allows it to operate for a long time, and with the capacity to transport specific-use material, mandatory for the compliance of the mission assigned. In short, it is a vehicle able to be transported by sea, air and land wherever its use is required, and that permits to conduct Special Operations missions where high mobility, autonomy, reliability, load capacity, self-protection and capacity to assemble equipment are needed.
