Servicepersons from the Antarctic Base on a ‘Radio Nacional’ Broadcast

During the month of February Spain’s ‘Radio Nacional’ plans to establish five connexions with the members of Spanish Antarctic Base ‘Gabriel de Castilla’ in order to gain in depth knowledge on the work that is being undertaken in the mission.

The connexions will take place at 10:00 am on 1st, 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th February, and each one will deal with various aspects such as mission objectives, research projects or logistics. It is foreseen to have on the air both service personnel and civilian researchers, who will tell about some of the ongoing projects.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Antarctic Campaign on Base ‘Gabriel de Castilla’ and the 75th anniversary of the birth of ‘Radio Nacional de España’.
