Information Exchange Session ARRC EC – JLSG NRDC ESP
Information Exchange Session ARRC EC – JLSG NRDC ESP
During 2019, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Spain Headquarters (NRDC-ESP HQ) will be certified as Joint Task Force for Small Joint Operations, Land Heavy (JTF HQ), being its main task the preparation and evaluation of the associated command and control structures (JTF HQ and Joint Logistic Support Group Headquarters, JLSG HQ its acronym). In this regard, NRDC ESP HQ is conducting a number of activities to get and share experiences and lessons learnt from other HQs, both from the NATO Force Structure (NFS) and NATO Command Structure (NCS), which have been previously certified as Joint Headquarter.
Consequently, on 31st January, NRDC ESP – JLSG along with Allied Rapid Reaction Corp Enabling Command (ARRC-EC) has organized an Information Exchange Session, in which representatives from the ESP Logistic Brigade (BRILOG) and other NRDC ESP HQ involved Branches, took part.
By means of presentations, discussions and information sharing activities, attendees addressed subjects, not only Logistics-wise but also related to delineation of responsibilities between JLSG and JTF HQ, as well as Command and Control relations, based on the ARRC-EC experience.
This activity has been a great opportunity to share procedures and best practices, while strengthening the relations and ties between NRDC ESP and ARRC, identifying common training opportunities that are mutually beneficial to both entities.
