NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Spain (NRDC ESP) visit Teruel in order to study on the field the famous battle that occurred in the Spanish Civil War.

The 18th and 19th of October, fifty members from different nations belonging to the NRDC ESP from Bétera (Valencia) conducted a Battlefield Study of Teruel´s Battle that occurred during the Spanish Civil War.

 

During the first day of the study, the members of that NATO Headquarter were briefed by a real expert in that battle, Fernando Martínez de Baños, who explained them the organization and composition of the forces, and the different phases of the battle.

 

After that, the NATO officers from Portugal, Germany, France, Romania, Italia and of course Spain, visited the town of Teruel, were they can also admire the Mudejar´s art.

The second day of the visit, it was the time to visit the combat locations in some little villages near the town.

During those days, the NRDC ESP members enjoyed the visit learning, not only about the battle, but also about different artistic jewels that this city offered to the world.
