The Army War College (Madrid) hosted the 4th Edition of the Seminar on NATO Emerging Concepts. Held on January 25th and 26th and organized by the NATO Rapid Deployable Spanish Corps (HQ NRDC-ESP), a total of 129 people attended the meeting, including personnel of the Army, the Navy, the Spanish Air Force and the Defense General Staff.

Likewise, it is worth noting that this edition counted with the collaboration of an officer of the United States Army based in the HQ NRDC-ESP, an officer based in the Training and Doctrine Command, as well as of a professor of the University of Granada and the technical director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies of the Catholic University of Valencia, who contributed their knowledge in a very enriching way. The liaison officer of the French Armed Forces in the General Direction of Defense Policy also participated.

On the basis of some concepts the HQ NRDC-ESP has been working on in recent years, the aim of the seminar was to explain and share these concepts with members of the Armed Forces and civilian personnel at the service of them, and create a forum of discussion and exchange of information between the participants. In this regard, the logistical support in high-intensity operations, the multi-domain operations, the new technologies in command posts, the grey area, applications of artificial intelligence in armed conflicts, the digital transformation or the concept of cognitive war were some of the most prominent topics covered in it.
